Hey earth muffins! Valentine’s Day is only a few days away… Time to think about spreading some love! While the holiday is usually meant for celebrating your relationship(s), it can also be about giving a little extra love to the planet and the organizations that make our communities better. In today’s post, I will share the best nonprofits to support on February 14th. This support can be monetary, time commitments, or even just spreading their message. Let’s jump right into it!
Charities to Support This Valentine’s Day:
Very fitting with the holiday, check out The Valentine Project. This nonprofit allows you to adopt someone as a “Valentine” or to send Kindness cards (aka valentines) to people with major illnesses. Last year I used up a bunch of old craft supplies to make a ton of valentines for sick children in a local hospital; it is such a rewarding way to spread a little bit of extra love to those who need it.
