Hey earth muffins! When I recently bought a replacement low waste mascara, I decided to splurge on a new eyeshadow as well. I picked out this pearly pink loose mineral eyeshadow by Zerra & Co and have been absolutely loving it ever since. What I Love About This Product

The first thing I love about this eyeshadow is that it is zero waste. Zerra & Co has been on my radar for a long time, as they have a great collection of low waste makeup products. Their mascara is excellent, so I knew their sustainability values would translate to their eyeshadows as well. The product is fully eco-friendly and comes in a cute little glass jar with a bamboo lid. It is shipped in 100% compostable and recyclable shipping materials too, which makes it a great plastic-free option. Zerra also has a container return program if you can’t find a way to reuse your empty jar. 😊

Don’t buy your ugly sweater at the store just yet… You can find plenty of them secondhand! Here are my tips for finding the best secondhand ugly Christmas sweaters this year:

~Start looking early!

The earlier you start scouring thrift stores for “ugly” holiday sweaters, the better your chances are for finding the best ones. If you haven’t started your hunt already, I suggest you get started ASAP. The best idea is to look for them consistently throughout the year too. I’ve even seen a ton of them over the summer months when they aren’t as highly coveted.

Just like a real turkey, this is a frozen roast that must be thawed and baked in the oven. The texture (and even the smell!) is similar to the holiday bird, which makes it a perfect replacement. Hey earth muffins! I recently decided to try Oui yogurts for the first time… These are made by Yoplait and are “french-style”, which means the yogurt is prepared in the container it is sold in. The reason I wanted to give them a try is because they come in glass jars! 😊 This is a great alternative to buying individually packaged yogurts in plastic, and they are quite tasty too! Once you eat the yogurt, there are endless possibilities on how to upcycle Oui yogurt containers… Let’s jump into my favorite options!

~Use them as containers for a packed lunch.

The first way to reuse these yogurt jars is to add them to your reusable container collection. These are perfect for packing a zero waste lunch! While they don’t have lids, I use a small piece of beeswax wrap to keep it airtight. If you make your own yogurt or buy a bulk yogurt tub, these are perfect for packing individual portions. 😍
