Rootless Review: The Ultimate Seaweed Nutrition Bite!

Hey earth muffins! Being on a plant-based diet can result in low levels of important vitamins and nutrients if you aren’t careful. An easy way to ensure you are getting the nutrition you need is to take some sort of multivitamin. Enter Rootless – this seaweed bite is perfect for anyone looking to balance their nutrients! I was gifted a 30 day supply of these bites, so I wanted to share my Rootless review with you all today.

What I Love About Rootless

Firstly, these bites are made out of seaweed (which is super sustainable!). Seaweed only requires sun and seawater to grow… And it doesn’t require any added water, pesticides, fertilizer, etc. that land plants need. On top of this, seaweed also draws carbon out of the surrounding ocean/air. This is always a good thing in terms of sustainability!

In addition, seaweed is a great way to get vitamins, nutrients, and bioactives without any nasty fillers. I used to take gummy vitamins (because I really suck at swallowing pills 😅) until I learned that they are full of fillers that aren’t great for you. I love that these bites are made with organic, good-for-you ingredients! A single bite gives you 60% of your daily iodine, 20% of your daily iron, and over 40 different vitamins, minerals, and bioactives too.

More Things I Like About Rootless

I opted to try the Starter Kit for this Rootless review. It comes with 30 bites in a cute reusable tin. Each tin is filled with one of three flavors. Coconut chai is the one I picked, since it is the original flavor. And it was delicious! There is a slight bitterness from the seaweed, but infinitely better than other seaweed snacks I’ve tried.

Lastly, along with the reusable tin, the package arrived in sustainable packaging as well. Always a win in my book! I love that after you complete the Starter Kit’s 30 day supply, you can order a refill of just the bites to place back into your tin. Such a great way to avoid duplicate vitamin bottles/containers each time you replenish your supply.

Any Negatives to this Nutrition Bite?

Overall, I really enjoyed taking a Rootless bite each morning. While I am sure my body appreciated the nutrients, it is kind of difficult to tell if it really works… But I guess maybe that’s a good thing in itself? I didn’t notice any big differences in energy levels, how my body was feeling, etc. But I also can’t say I was looking for that either. Just like with any multivitamin, I just assume it works and let my body enjoy the nutrients it needs!
