Earth Chimp Review: The Best Vegan Protein Powder!

Hey earth muffins! For those of us on a plant-based diet, it can be challenging to get enough protein… An awesome way to add extra to our diet is to use protein powders. Earth Chimp kindly gifted me their vegan & organic protein powder to try out; I wanted to share all my thoughts about this product with you all today. Let’s jump right into it!

What I Love About Earth Chimp

First off, this is a great way to get plant-based protein (20g per serving!) for those of us on plant based diets. Not only is this product vegan, it is also dairy, soy, AND gluten free. Perfect for everyone with dietary restrictions. The protein powder is also organic and full of good ingredients without all those nasty added sugars and gums.

I also love that it comes in three flavors: plain & unsweetened, chocolate, and vanilla. Having a lot of flavors allows you to pick the flavor that best serves your needs. I personally like to hide protein powder in fruit smoothies, which is why I chose unsweetened. And it really can be used for anything since it doesn’t have a distinct flavor!

Another positive to add to this Earth Chimp review is that the company isn’t just creating a good-for-you product… They also care about the planet! The protein powder is packed in a compostable bag and you can buy it without the plastic scoop when purchasing on Amazon. A great way to avoid plastic! The company plants a tree with each purchase and donates 10% of their profits to cleaning up plastic in the ocean.

What Could Be Improved

It wouldn’t be a Life of an Earth Muffin review if we don’t talk about price! A 2 pound bag of Earth Chimp protein powder is about $40 on Amazon (affiliate link). Each bag is approximately 26 servings if you use two full scoops of powder. This might seem expensive compared to other protein powders, but it is relatively close to other organic powders on the market. To save a bit more money, use the discount code “27earthmufn” for 27% your order on Amazon! 😊

Lastly, I wanted to mention that this protein powder has a bit of a chalky consistency when put into smoothies. This isn’t a big deal because most protein powders I’ve tried result in this, so it’s typically what I expect. Just thought I would mention it though!

Overall, I really like the Earth Chimp protein powder. I try to add as much protein to my vegetarian diet as possible, so I love that this can be put into a smoothie for that extra boost of nutrition. The unsweetened flavor is awesome because you can barely taste it too! What is your favorite protein powder(s)? Comment below and let me know if you will be trying Earth Chimp next!

Love,
Jenna ♥
