What I Ordered

Sunbasket offers two options for meals. First, there are Fresh & Ready Meals. These are delivered ready to eat – just pop them in the fridge, and heat up for dinner! Most of these meals can be frozen for later if you can’t get around to eating them right away. The second option are Meal Kits. These come with everything you need to cook up a delicious meal. To try out both, I bought 2 Fresh & Ready Meals and 2 Meal Kits – one vegetarian for me and the other with meat for my boyfriend.

Hey earth muffins! When the weather gets warm, water balloon fights are a popular way to cool off and have fun in the sun. However, traditional water balloons are single-use items that generate a significant amount of plastic waste. In addition, it is super annoying to clean up all the plastic remnants they leave behind! Thankfully, there are eco-friendly alternatives that allow you to enjoy water play without the negative environmental impact. Here are some fantastic options for eco-friendly water balloons to try out this summer!

~Sponges

Instead of using water balloons, try sponges! They are awesome because they soak up a bunch of water and won’t pop on impact. A quick dip in some water means they are ready to go again! You can even cut up some sponges into strips and tie them together to make sponge bombs as well.

Hey earth muffins! I am a huge fan of Zerra & Co’s eco-friendly makeup products. In the past, I’ve reviewed their zero waste mascara and eyeshadow… And it’s time for another review today! Along with these products, I’ve also been using the Zerra & Co eyeliner for the past few months. There is plenty to say about this low waste makeup, so keep reading for a full review!

What I Love About This Eyeliner

The first thing I adore about this eyeliner is the fact that it is truly sustainable. This company lives and breathes their sustainability values (which I fully support!). The eyeliner comes in a little glass jar with a metal top. They even give you an option to get it with a bamboo eyeliner brush or to avoid the brush and just use one you already have. After you use up the product, you can either reuse the jar (perhaps for another makeup product) or participate in Zerra’s container return program. Such a great zero waste brand!
